Collage

Frequently blocked when printmaking, I began to create collages, at first as playful diversion and then as reverential memorials using the mass of materials accumulated in my studio, many freighted with significance: scraps of fabric from a robe, a photograph, a concert program’s pages, a receipt, most carrying skin cells. Curated they became narratives in themselves.
